Celebrating India’s journey from saving to investing — a tactile film that turns finance into a human story.
When Bandhan Mutual Fund turned 25, the ask was simple: celebrate how they helped everyday Indians grow. We turned that brief into a warm, paper-crafted film — a story of transformation from gullaks and bachat to SIPs and confidence.
About the approach
Visual language
Cutout collage — scanned textures, torn edges and layered paper to create a scrapbook aesthetic with real-world touch and age.
Animation
Stop-motion inspired — intentionally jittery, frame-by-frame character motion to maintain tactile charm and human imperfection.
Tone
Whimsical, nostalgic and relatable — making finance feel personal and achievable.
The hero narrative follows Raju bhaiya’s journey — small, consistent steps (SIP) turning into confidence, dignity and upward mobility. Design and motion were kept intentionally imperfect to preserve the handmade feeling.
